Item Description: For sale only. This is a 1941 Tula SVT 40. Less than 300 rounds through it. New firing pin springs and middle guide. Some parts are matching on this rifle. The receiver is stamped "843" and the bolt, bolt carrier and trigger guard have been electro etched to match. The stock is in amazing condition, a 1944 Tula. The gas setting is on 1.5. If you get this rifle, you can do with it as you will, but the setting 1.3 is too low and you WILL have failures ejecting, and 1.7 is much too high and in some cases this has been known to damage these rifles when being used in hot climates. To my knowledge that setting was used in freezing temps and below only. Has been well maintained and never had her rust on me. Import markings on the receiver read "SVT 40 7.62x54r Made in Russia CDL SWAN VT. Comes with the original 10 round mag and sling. I have heard of many people having troubles with their SVT's being picky or finicky, but just as long as you keep this rifle clean, it will run good for you as I have never had any problems with it.
