The receiver had a small tack weld from receiver to barrel that was ground off and a replacement barrel was added. *****
Head spaces perfectly.
Shoots lights out.
Now onto the specs.
This rifle is a mix master. 100% mix of 100% USGI parts.
Receiver is 3.7 Mil SA.
Barrel is a VAR DANISH replacement.
Measures exactly 3 on the muzzle and 3 on the throat.
Falls into the service grade category.
Trigger group is post war Springfield - Has a WRA sfety.
Bolt is Springfield.
Op rod is NATIONAL MATCH 77 series.
Stock is USGI. (USGI stock metal. )
Hand guards are USGI.
Gas Cylinder is USGI post war
Sights are USGI. - I did replace the aperture.
So this old gal is looking for a new Soldier to love on her. She is a very neat piece of American History.
