The year is correct. Nickel for sure. Looks all shiny nice except the last pic. Are those finger smudges or what on the cylinder? Gotta wear the white cotton gloves when handling polished nickel. Just curious. The rest looks picture perfect.

From what little I know the SS Python first appeared in 1983 and the "Ultimate" bright SS not until 1985. Of course I could be wrong. So... I'm thinking nickel if the 1979 is correct.
