Bump..This is an 86
An 86 is the square tiny camry that isn't any bigger than the corolla anymore. I have seen these gen 3 camry with well over 400-500k miles when we'll maintained original drive train too. There is a topic on a toyota forum I'm on that's just one right after the next with 300k mile+. They aren't perfect cars but if I could find one with 30-40k miles on it I would trade my brand new camry for it cause they were better built back then.

As stated above, the 86 models are all square and look quite a bit different. I had a guy look at it yesterday and says he is coming back Saturday to bring the cash.

Yes it's a 1996. This body style rolled out in 92 and it had the fake taillight reflector thing all the way across between the tail lights. In 95 they changed the trunk lid removing the reflector thing and putting the Camry name between the tail lights. Only 2 years of that style 96/96. In 97 they changed the whole car over to the more boxy design. And as mentioned above these are easily 400K mile cars. The Corolla is still the number one selling car in the world and for good reasons. But the Camry is a close second and probably still the number one selling car in the U.S. Kind of a sad statement about the country. But smart people go with what works. If you can hold onto this car until tax time you will have no problem getting your full asking price.
