Item Description: Letting go of the best car I've owned. VW 2014 Passat. This car drives good! I am only letting it go because I invested in a newer SUV at the beginning of the year (also a VW because this car has been so reliable). I intended on keeping this car too as I do not have any family or close friends anywhere near me and I wanted the backup but now I am planning on getting a house so selling the extras.
Paid this car off October 2022. Title in hand. I am the second owner.
This car just went over 169K, mostly highway miles from daily work travel and vacations. Stayed on top of the oil changes. Last one is from March but I think I have only driven around 800 miles since. Tires have less then a year of use on them. One thing was replaced in 2017, I think it was a water pump? $400 ish fix what ever it was. Other then that only thing has been tires, breaks, battery and filters. No other mechanical repairs needed.
Only problems with this car, right mirror replacement needs to be installed ( I have the mirror in hand). cd player sometimes doesn’t want to let cd out. Key fob doesn’t unlock doors, but I think it’s a fuse that needs to be replaced. All the commands work when car is running and a minute after being turned off but not after. Just missing a hub cap.
