Macon's not that far and I passed through pretty regularly.

Shot these next to several Proof and Fierce rifles. The Waypoint, surprisingly, held it's own against the Proof until the Waypoint heated up..took a while though (we shot the **** out of them suppressed). The Fierce was a distant third, accuracy wise. For the money, this is a great little rifle.

I was gifted a Proof Research .300 PRC right after I bought myself this one and one of them needs to go. I am keeping the Proof. This however, is one of the best production rifles money can buy. I'll walk you through why I bought it for myself. It certainly shoots as well as the proof.

1. AB Composite Carbon Fiber Stock - Incredibly lightweight for this size of rifle. These stocks run $1,000 alone and are back ordered for six months. It's a Remington 700 footprint so you can use it on any remington clone action and barrel
2. Adjustable Cheek Comb - Has a 20 MOA rail that is pinned for recoil. Mount whatever scope and rings you want and you can still get the perfect cheek weld for long range.
3. TriggerTech Trigger - Tested it again for this listing. I set it at 1.75 lbs for hunting. All it takes is an allen wrench to set it to your desired pull weight.
4. Quick Detach cups are molded into the stock for whatever sling you want to use.
5. Fore end has a built-in M-Lock system. You can mount an ARCA rail, bipod, or any mlock accessory you want to run.
6. AccurateMag AICS magazines. This is a three round that comes with the rifle, but you can get 5 and 10 round mags.
7. BSF carbon barrel - It's a tensioned carbon fiber sleeve not integrated into the steel so it shoots incredibly true and stays very lightweight. During break in the barrel would cool down faster than any other rifle I've seen. Round count is at 87 down the tube.
8. Comes with a pretty good muzzle break, but its threaded for a break, suppressor, or has a thread protector if you want to run it without.
9. Springfield Armory has a .75 MOA guarantee on these telling you how much they put into building them.
10. It loves to eat 212 grain ELDX. I am including two boxes with the rifle. It consistently shoots 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards with them.

From hogs to elk and anything in between this 300 PRC will get it done. This cartridge is now used in long range military applications. It has the better performance at distance than almost any other cartridge. Please don't contact me if you are not legally able to purchase a rifle in GA. Not currently looking for trades thanks.
