Item Description: I gave a loan of $500 to a friend for his AK-74 SAR-2 5.45x39 SA/CUGIR, made in Romania. The loan is coming due 9/1/2015. It will have 2 Tapco 30rnd mags, one has 30rnds in it. No docs, box, bag, case, carrier, straps & the like.

The very first person to hand me $500 cash gets it. No trades on this, I gotta put the money back in the house fund. Yep, I got in a little bit of a pickle with the misses on this one.

If there are questions I’ll try to answer the best I’m able. So if you want it start saving, selling or hiding.

its a solid price! iv seen them list for $700 but aint no body gonna pay that in this market. Atleast i dont think.
maybe if they start banning again and have gun shortages.

Is the barrel threaded?

None of the imported Romy SAR series rifles had factory threaded barrels but J-Mac Customs makes a sleeve-type adapter ($35+/-) that simply press-fits over the barrel stub and is fastened with the enclosed allen screws (or you can drill/pin) that will give you the larger 24mm RH threads for a *proper AK74 Front Sight threaded muzzle device (AK74 barrels generally are not threaded, the front sight is). Once installed with FH, you would be hard pressed to see it wasn't a factory setup Or there's usually enough barrel material remaing to to a 1/2x28 "hand" thread job as another option
