Item Description: Need a sturdy, all metal, lockable, "old school" (read: no plastic, no polymer) flight locker to keep your treasure(s) protected?
Here's one for you. Flight locker found at yard sale 8? years ago. You can still see pilot's name "PETERS" in that all-to-familiar military stencil. I had built shelves inside (not available) to hold ammo cans. You can configure the interior to the limits of your imagination to hold whatever you desire. Spent August re-configuring the garage in to a workspace, and the ammo got moved out --don't have the need (or floorspace) for it anymore.
Stands 6ft tall, 2ft deep, 18" wide. Top shelf is 8-1/2" from the locker top, steel, and riveted in to hold whatever you care to sit on it [2 full cases of 9 didn't budge it]. Sits level, door swings freely -no binding.
Door is secure with 3 internal latches (top, middle, bottom) in a channel & will not pry open --handle must be lifted. No OEM key, however, a heavy shank padlock will ensure what's inside will stay there. Did I mention I have a padlock that fits the handle like a glove? Well, I do, and it's optional.
