Item Description: Do you like the odd, rare, seldom seen gun? For Sale is a Armalite AR-17 (Golden Gun), 12 ga. shotgun. These were made for less than one year 64/65. They made at best guess about 1200 guns. It was designed by Eugene Stoner using polymers like he did in the M-16/AR-15. These guns were made in brown and in gold with polymer wood color. They weigh a shade over 5 lbs. It is a two shot (like a Browning Double Automatic) gun that shoots 2.75" shells. It has a polychoke style choke on the end. This one has the factory butt pad, some only had a plastic plate. Research it, there articles on the net and on YouTube about these guns. Live in Fitzgerald. Asking $1200.00 firm. No trades.
