I am asking $900 dollars for this shotgun. It is a Benelli Model M3 Super 90 in 12 gauge with a 19.5 inch barrel. This shotgun can be used as either a pump or semi-auto. As shown in the pictures, there are studs just in front of the fore grip, pushing these studs down disengages the action from semi and goes into pump mode. The gun is reliable in semi-auto with buck shot and slugs. It will run some bird-shot in semi-auto, but it is best to run bird-shot in pump mode. The pump action is smooth. The ability to instantly switch to pump makes clearing jams much quicker than other semi-autos.
IMPORTANT. Please note that I modified the frame in the area of the loading port by rounding the edges of the frame. This makes it easier to fast load spare shells into the magazine. I did this when I was using the gun in shotgun matches. Other than the cosmetics, there was no change in the function or reliability of the gun. I bought the gun in January of 1992. It has approximately 750 shell through it.
I added a Side Saddle shell holder to the frame. It allows you to carry six additional shells on the gun. With one in the chamber the gun holds 8 rounds of 2 3/4 shells. I would consider the gun in excellent mechanical condition with the exterior finish in good condition, with the exception of the loading area. There is some finish wear at the muzzle end of the shotgun and scratches on the frame under the ejection port. These are visible in the pictures. I removed the bracket which connects the magazine tube to the barrel because taking it on and off changed the impact point of slugs. There is light scratching on the barrel and magazine tube at the bracket point. I still have the bracket and will include it with the shotgun. Also included with the shotgun is a TacStar sling, the original box, and the owners manual. Pictures are considered part of the description. I am willing to ship to an FFL or negotate a face to face transfer.
