On the subject of cheaper rifles vs more expensive ones, in my experience, there's definitely a slight difference in consistency. Whether or not that slight difference is worth paying the extra $$$ for is totally up to the buyer.

I owned a Savage FVSR for years. It had a few mods including trigger upgrades. Super accurate for what it was. BUT, if I shoot 10 groups back to back with the same ammo, my CZ457 tends to keep them slightly tighter. Not a lot, but enough to be noticeable.

I’ve been shooting a 457 Pro Varmint for a couple yrs in PRS and NRL22 and have been happy with my results. It’s never let me down. Hope you enjoy finding what ammo it likes best and making memories at the range.
