So, even a Gen 4 barrel won't work with these? So you'd need the Strike Ind. adapter and a Gen 3 barrel in order for these slides to work with a Gen 4 frame?

The barrel will be the same. The frame of a 4th gen will need an adapter. The recoil spring on the gen 3 is thinner the gen 4.

As far as I’m understanding, the barrels should be the same. The recoil spring changed in the 4th gen to the bigger style with duel springs.
