Item Description: So, I keep hearing about these "gun free zones" and how "safe" they are. So I also heard about all these shootings in the "gun free zones". I also heard about the Army vet who was following the rules in the "gun free zone" and was shot 7 times because he could not carry a gun. SO - I made a bullet proof backpack for all these "imaginary bullets" in the magical "gun free zones". I took the best backpack I could find (Drago Assault pack), up armored it with Kevlar and blew the ever living daylights out of it with "imaginary" bullets and real bullets..... 9mm, 40,45, shotgun double ought blasts.... etc. Now my friends and family have bullet proof backpacks for these "very safe gun free zones". Looking for feed back to see if it's something viable to sell. I will follow whatever rules the Moderators impose. If you guys want something like this, please let me know. I won't sell one until I get everything on the up and up for the site rules. If the demand is high, I'll become an advertiser and do it that way or whatever the moderators want. It's cost me a lot of money and time to get these done but if I can save one person's life, it will be worth it. Looking for your feedback guys and gals..... If I can make these full time and make a living, I'll do it. I guess it would make a great prepper pack too. Mod's please let me know what I need to do to make this happen if there is enough interest. It looks like I need to be at 250 for a base model backpack and 320 for the better one with thicker panels. THESE ARE NIJ 3A RATED - and I have the test data also :)

I carried so many books in my backpack when was in school that id bet was bullet resistant.
Short of adding a level 3 plate in the laptop compartment i dont see what else could be done.
Its an interesting idea though

I can lift a panel with my pinkie finger, it's very light. I picked the Drago because it has a pocket between the main chamber and the user. We cut open the pack and inserted the panels in that chamber. My theory was the chamber would help hold it in place during a firefight instead of just slipping it in there..... I can do any size panel. It takes about a week to get it in from the waterjet shop. I also seal the panels in 2 bags of hermetically sealed thick plastic. I'll post pics of it real quick..... Drago Gear Assault Backpack, 20" x 15" x 13" is what I pulled from the website. It's 6.5 lbs armored. If you want your child's bag done, I need input (size or model number so I can look it up) on that as well. I can make a slip in panel for it. I'm going to look at kids backpacks today to see what is out there for sizes. Again, looking for input on what is needed. The Kevlar is really light compared to the ballistic metal I was thinking about. I'll make them but I have to make sure I follow whatever rules the Mods agree to. The photos are of a Drago that I up armored. I prefer two panels but one panel is NIJ 3A certified.

Look up Son of Sam, he used a 44 mag, went right through the text book the young lady held up to her head...... and it went through everything else he was aiming at too. These same panels will fit in laptop bags as well. Doing one for myself right now as a matter of fact....

nothing new they have bullet proof panels so you can throw in normal backpacks so it doesn't bring attention
as a pack with molle Velcro, or patches,
but your packs look awesome for us ODTers
