Man this seems like a fun project. Especially with a kid to help get them all working. GLWS
Yes they were all working, I got on a kick and bought them every time I saw at a flee market. The globes ect are well worth what I am asking and with a little oil, I bet they all work. Most have the globes still on them. I used to light up the yards at Halloween.

Still interested. 678-943-7790. Ask for Len

Are they propane or coleman fuel or dual fuel?? Some of them run on unleaded gas. Any of those are unleaded?
I am sure they are colman or white gas if you can get it anymore, I us to use American white gas in all of mine, they are all probably 15-20 years old. I had a couple of kerosene, but will have to go in to the storage trailer which is not pleasant as it is growed up with brush to get the.

Do you think they are useable for a "cub scout" project, repair and use?
yes, all were working , they have light rust, dirty globes, but with a little oil on the pumps, cleaning the lantern and putting new mantels where needed would make a excellent project, I would say I could go thru one in a hour or less and that would include light spray painting after light sanding. The globes cost more than what I am asking for the lanterns.
