Item Description: Before you say anything about the price, realize the scope, which is new, sells for $300.00.
The rifle is a Mosin Nagant M1891/30. It has a Timney 3lb tigger with safety, a custom stock and the action has been bedded with fiberglass reinforced epoxy. The bolt has been lengthened and modified to ease the action and allow the use of a scope mount. The barrel has been machined and tapped to accept a rail or scope mount. The barrel has been shortened by 5 inches and the ends machined. The barrel and action have been duracoated black and the stock is duracoated OD green. I installed a bipod as well but it isn't permanent. The bolt and inside the chamber has been polished and the action is smoother than many new rifles I've handled.
This rifle is fun, cheap, and very consistent. This was more of a hobby and I don't expect to get my money back out of it. If you would like the rifle without the scope or scope mounts just let me know. I realize the scope is probably worth more than the rifle, but having a really nice scope on any rifle makes a world of difference.
