Item Description: CZ 550 FS 30-06, Zeiss Terra 3X (4-12x50, Zeiss 20 Reticle Z-Plex, CZ rings) in MINT condition
This is a modern take on a classic hunting rifle chambered in 30-06 that I acquired several months ago from another trader and have yet to shoot. Unfortunately, I am thinning the herd to fund another unforeseen obligation. It features the Mauser action and If you're familiar with Mauser actions, you know that due to their design with a robust build and controlled feed, they are revered by many as the best action ever made. The rifle is equipped with a Mannlicher stock made of some of the most superbly finished Turkish walnut with a rich oil finish. The pictures just don't do it justice. This rifle also has a single set trigger (SST). The CZ single set trigger (SST) system featured on 550 models provides the shooter with the option to effectively handle any shooting situation with which they are presented. The SST allows for both a standard hunting trigger and a light target trigger in the same rifle. The previous owner only had approximately 25 rounds through the rifle and achieved sub MOA groups when zeroing the rifle at 100 yards. Everyone that I know that owns and hunts with these rifles knows that they are crazy accurate.
If you are looking for a beautiful heirloom hunter that can be passed down from one generation to the next, look no further. It pains me to have to part with this rifle as they have been discontinued and I was hunting for one for quite sometime. I bought this package for exactly the same price as I have it listed. I am happy to share the prior listing. This is a more than fair deal for such a collectable rifle and package. These rifles are not being made any longer and are scarce.
