better grips better mag release better trigger better sights and lower bore axis. this gun shoots extremely flat, feels as if the sights never even move.

In addition to the differences listed by Jtread above, the Shadow 2 also has a larger grip (wider from front to rear) than the SP-01 Tactical, different trigger guard profile, safety (Shadow 2) vs. decocker (SP-01 Tactical), and there's no firing pin block. Removal of the firing pin on an SP-01 Tactical requires driving out a roll pin. Removal of the firing pin on a Shadow 2 is identical to removal of the firing pin on a 1911, just depress the firing pin and slide the retaining plate down at the rear. Makes for much simpler detail stripping of the slide. I've owned and ran both quite a bit. Both super smooth shooters. I prefer the larger grip and added weight of the Shadow 2, but it's all personal preference.
