Item Description:
This beautiful gun is in really good condition. It's a Savage Fox-Sterlingworth, 26" barrels, 20 guage. It was purchased new by my wife's grandfather and used for hunting until the 60s. Wood is in very good shape for the age, as is the metal. There is one rather deep ding that can be seen in the photos. There is still a little case color left on the metal. Has a middle bead sight 13 3/4" from the muzzle that was installed when it was new.

Nice. Do you know the chokes? LOP? At 26", my guess is M/IC. Probably weighs right at 6lbs, or less. Do the barrels kiss at the ends?

I'm not 100% sure about the chokes, but like you I assume modified and improved, which was typical for this setup. LOP is right at 14" from the front trigger.
