Item Description: I have a Lee Enfield no.4 mk.1 and some ammo to go with it. It's a nice shooter out to 300 yards with a clean bore. The markings in this rifle are something I haven't seen before. From what digging I've been able to do, this rifle seems to have seen action some time during the war and was sent back to the factory for repairs. The bolt and the receiver have factory stamps, and they fit a "newer" stock on it and painted a number on it. Looks like they just numbered it and put it back on the rack, but that's just my guess. Comes with the original bayonet and an ammo can with about 70 rounds and some stripper clips.
