I have one with a higher serial # but built on a similar Imperial Russian receiver dated 1906, I wonder what year that one is, just curious though, glws.

~ It looks like the Imperial crest is intact too, most of mine has been peened away.

The receiver date is under the tang near the rear attaching bolt, you'd have to take off the stock to see it, the Finns reused a lot of old Russian receivers when they re-arsenaled their Mosins so it's possible to find a pre-1900 receiver. I just enjoy seeing what's out there and hope to add my the stable, but my current finances don't allow me to collect them as much as I'd like so I'm not asking you to check.
