Item Description: Building a house and selling my machine gun. They are priced at $18 to $20K everywhere I can find one. Thought this would be a good Christmas gift? Could meet at your class III dealer to get paid and leave the gun with them for transfer to you. It would sit at your dealer owned by you until the ATF transfer was complete. Conversion was done by Todd at TBA Suppressors. Includes the 3 round burst. Also installed 14.5 in chrome lined barrel. 1/7 twist. Original 16in fnc barrel included 1/12 twist. Aimpoint and 2a flash hider not included. Thanks.

I’ve heard that people trying to use SOT dealer to hold NFA items etc.
As far as I know, unless you transferred the MG to the dealer on Form-4 first, you just can’t simply let him hold it legally.
I’ve been dealing with MG since early 90s and the law is very clear on this.

I've always been told by FFLs that they can't hold NFA items during a transfer unless it is being transferred to the FFL then to you (which would cost an extra stamp).

Ffls are not even allowed to hold nfa items in transfer to them until all paperwork has cleared it is a big no no ( some dealers do it either trying to take in for “repair” but it’s not legit) I am a 07/02 and deal with this quite frequently

Finally someone with knowledge.
Even on major MG forums, people talking about dealer holding & brokering MG without paperwork process and it's all legal and crap.
When you get caught you can't just say "I didn't know that" and expect to be ok.

Just a work guys. When I said hold. I meant transfer to dealer whom would then hold it and transfer to buyer. So it's a 2 stamp deal and 1 year.
