It’s the 2500. Not a 1500. Less than 8,000 were produced worldwide. Plus the avalanche line has been discontinued. They are not easy to find. Lots have been destroyed by rust or accidents since production stopped in 06.Can you elaborate on what makes this Avalanche rare?
I didn’t know they existed either. I showed it to a master mechanic who worked at a Chevy dealer for 20 years. And he didn’t even know about it. They are pretty rare.I have never seen one marked as a 2500. More pictures would help. Interesting truck.
It’s an 8.1 and yes 4x4. It’s super cool. I love it. And I really hate to let it go. It’s just I can’t work on this thing. It’s a project for someone else not me. I got in over my head because I got to excited about it.2500 Avalanches are rare birds for sure, I’ve always wanted one.
Is it 4x4? What work needs done? Also is it a 6.0 truck?
Thank you for the explanation. I've nearly stopped looking for a truck with gas/fuel prices but this is one to consider. You say it's a project. What does it need? Is it cosmetics or mechanics or both? It’s the 2500. Not a 1500. Less than 8,000 were produced worldwide. Plus the avalanche line has been discontinued. They are not easy to find.
