PS: it comes with some Federal Premium 240fr semi-jacketed HP, 30 or so with a flat nose, suitable for a tube fed rifle. I also have some light hand loads in LSWC, made for a Redhawk I gave to my nephew along with the dies, that shoot just as well (have to aim at the top of the gong as my guess they are about 900-1000fps). The LWSC rounds do not feed as well as the Federal factory loads in this rifle. They can be disassembled and reloaded if desired. Maybe 50 or so, plus the federal brass...I do not need any more so all go with the rifle if desired.

This is a perfect example of manufacturing excellence in both visible quality and performance. I have not tried it with a scope or from a bench. However, at 100yds, shooting off-hand, I easily ring a 6" bullet gong, 8-9 out of ten shots fired. It is JM stamped and pre-safety. I do not load for this caliber so I am passing it on.

I will trade for a JM/pre-safety Marlin or pre-64 model 94 Winchester in 30-30 plus or minus cash either way.

Good deal loved mine but the big bores are a lot more fun! Good deal for a pre safety though!!
