Item Description: To (Sell or Trade) is my Winchester 9422M / XTR Chambered for .22WMR
Year produced is 1977/78 time-frame. SN is F357xxx and the production run ended in 1978 with SN F367976
The 9422 has been one of the most popular Lever Actions in the Winchester lineup for the entire 33 year production run from 1972 through 2005. This rifle is as good as it gets for overall condition. It has one tiny little rub mark from being moved around in my safe but, I would put it at about 99% condition. No box or Docs.
I am not the original owner and I picked it up a few years ago. I have never fired it and I don't know if it ever has been. Surely does not look like it. Now, I am not saying that it is guaranteed to be unfired outside the factory. It just appears to be that way.
