4.0 striaght six
Automatic 42re Transmission in perfect working order. Fluid is red and clean.
Original 249 transfer case has been swapped out for the more reliable 231.
New oil pan gasket, battery, and headliner.
Swapped in newer black leather seats.
A/C and heat work.
All windows and locks work fine.
285/75r16 Nitto Terra Grappler Tires and a 2" lift.

Bad:
- driver rear door can only be opened from the inside.
- rear hatch struts need replaced
- sometimes it throws an evap code
- no radio

Pull the plastic panel off the back hatch and adjust the lever and the hatch will open again. Just fixed my 97 yesterday. YouTube videos everywhere for the problem

Thanks Scott but the hatch opens fine. Just the struts won't hold it up once opened. It's the driver rear door that won't open from the outside because of a broken linkage clip. Struts were ordered online and if I still have this jeep by the time I make it out to pullapart I'll have the linkage fixed.
