I have a bunch of old 7.62x39 ammo that was left in a garage for years. Most of the ammo is 7.62x39 soft point. It is all steel case. The ammo began to get some rust on the casings. I shot around 200 rounds of it to determine if it was worth cleaning. It worked so I cleaned the rest. Its not perfect but it seems to work fine. Sold my 7.62 so now its taking up space.
