2002 Honda Civic LX Sedan
Black. Automatic. Clean title in hand, current tag and recent emissions. Runs great and extremely reliable. It has been my commuter between Hamilton Mill area and Dunwoody for several years. Great gas mileage. 292719 miles. It will likely give someone another 100,000+ miles. Nearly all parts are OEM parts. The engine and transmission and overall drivability of this car is very strong!
Past 6 months (~10k miles): new catalytic converter, radiator and thermostat
Past 18 months (~25k miles): it blew a head gasket, which is really common on these engines between 160-200k miles. replaced head gasket/machined head/valve job. replaced oil pan gasket. new timing belt and water pump. new goodyear tires, front steering/tie rods/control arms/ball joints, new battery
I'm likely missing some items too but will be transparent. Only issues I'm aware of are minor cosmetic items (chips/scratches/wear and tear), it burns a little oil (about a quart every month and a half or so), and the power windows can be finicky. The drivers side rolls down about 3/4 before binding and both passenger windows intermittently will not work. Not sure if that is a fuse or some switch starting to fail. It has a cold a/c so I haven't bothered with either. Shocks could use a replacement and it could also use a tranny flush in the next year or two. Also includes a used and abused Haynes manual.
Not out to rip anyone off. It's got character but it's a good little car for nearly 300k miles and 14 years old.
