I just got the 16. Im taking mine to get the eco computer turned off tomorrow.
I actually intended to get a DiabloSport or a Hypertech tuner, but I never did. One of the features is that you can turn the active fuel management feature off. A lot of people reported that they actually got better gas mileage without it.

Whyre you selling?

I now have sole custody of my 3 kids and they're always fighting for elbow room in the back seat, so I bought a Tahoe. Can't justify keeping both. I bought it new and never intended to get rid of it. I just got done doing a ton of maintenance on it as you can see in the ad and never skimped on parts or service. It's really a top notch truck.

I've got a 15'... what does doing this help?
On the earlier AFM models there was a noticeable vibration when the engine switches from 4 cylinder to 8 cylinder mode. It's more annoying than anything. It was causing transmission dipstick tubes to break off. Mine broke off and GM retrofitted the new one back when the truck had about 30,000 miles on it. No issues since.

Ok i just had mine shut off at a place in ballground for $350 but this also included a street tune. He handed my keys to me and said you'll enjoy it now. As i give it throttle leaving thier company, I was mind blown about the power difference and the throttle control. No more delay in pedal and no more 4 cylinder bs. Ok so I was going south on 575 and stoped in town lake to reset fuel meter. I averaged 22 and my best was 26. Im great with this mpg. Especially since i have the power now. I had a Nissan Titan befor this and was super impressed with its handling and power. I bought it new 11 years ago and now have the chevy. Was regretting the chevy until the tune. Very happy with it. Name of company that did tune is LSXPERTS. Check them out. They mainly work on vettes or an LS/LT engines. Great guys too. If you use them let me know what you think.
