The Colt SP1 is actually chambered in 5.56. The receiver only says .223 becuase when they were marketed, nobody knew what 5.56 was. The barrel is actually marked 5.56

For real !? I never knew ….. i have had this thing since early ‘80 - lol. I will investigate that, thanks for the input !
