Item Description: EDIT: I had 1,170 for sale, but sold 500. I now have 670 for sale.
I'm selling exactly 670 rounds of new M855 ammunition made by Federal.
420 of these are in an unopened 30 caliber ammo can which was packaged by Federal and has been completely unopened. The ammo in this ammo can is on stripper clips and the can provides a guide so you can easily load USGI magazines. Otherwise, they can be easily removed from the clips for you to load the rounds individually into magazines. This can was kept inside my climate-controlled house. It should go without saying, but the 30 caliber ammo can is included.
The other 250 rounds are loose in a gallon size Ziplock bag. These rounds are also Federal M855 which were from another 30 caliber can that was opened in the past. These rounds were loaded into magazines which were kept in my climate-controlled house. The ammo went into the magazines, it stayed in the magazines, and it didn't leave them until today when I decided to sell all of my M855 ammo.
Preferably, I'd like cash for this ammunition. However, I might also be willing to trade this ammo for the following types of ammunition
M193 (NOT .223)
12 gauge buckshot and/or slugs
45 ACP
9mm
Please note that any ammunition that I'd consider for trade must be newly manufactured (as in not reloaded/remanufactured) and cannot be steel or aluminum cased. Even if your ammo meets the previously mentioned qualifications, if it's from a brand I don't like then I might reject the offer. However, please feel free to make offers; the worst I can do is say "no".
Less preferable to cash or ammunition, I might be willing to consider certain firearms.
870 Police Magnum shotguns or Wingmasters in a similar 18.5" or 20" configuration.
Most likely if you offer something other than these firearms I'll say "no", but feel free to offer because you never know. However, I wont consider anything made by Sig Sauer, Ruger, Smith and Wesson, or anything made in Turkey. Any difference in value would need to be made up for with cash and/or ammunition.
