Brown Bear, and Red Army still won't be affected from the ban. It's only the 7n6 that's banned and most likely coming back once the pistol is out of production.

And I believe you're correct, Roman. I fully expect that 5.45x39 will be commercially available and priced right in line with 7.62x39. I wouldn't mind keeping the rifle. But I started reloading about the same time that I bought the gun, and my "fun money" went into that hobby instead of buying ammo for the AK-74. There's commercial ammo out there now, and more will come in later, but I need to pay some bills.
