Maybe it's a long to a ninja named Mills...

I could find absolutely nothing on the blacksmith the steel is very hard and blade is very sharp I did clean it up a little bit but not overly so...

You can see the cartouche/stamp in the photo. It is approximately 9 and 1/2 in wide and approximately 7 and 1/2 in tall it is a wonderful piece of History and there's no telling how old it is...

I did all the research I could and found nothing on the name...

Thank you very much for looking at my old stuff

No idea what it is after trying my best google skills but it looks pretty neat.

if no one has offered you yet I’ll take it off your hands and if you don’t mind me asking what’s the gnarly mayan leather thing behind it?

It is a leather hand cut Tumi image, generic term encompassing the many kinds of sharp tools utilized in pre- and post-colonial eras of the Central Andes region, Tumis were employed for a diverse set of purposes such as kitchen knives, agricultural tools, warrior or hunting secondary weapons, sacrificial knives, barber implements, pendants, or medical tools. In addition, the tumi form, in metal, was used as a type of coin. Pre-columbian Tumis were usually made of metal or stone.
