It does NOT require internet connection, phone or tablet to operate and fly.
It has a color screen on the controller, and you can do all you need to do with it there. Hooking up a phone or tablet does give you a bigger screen to see and makes it easier to access all the functions with touch screen.
It folds up for storage or travel.
Flys, records video and takes pictures as it should.
Drone, controller, charger and ONE (1) battery come with it for $500
You can get about 30 minutes of flight if you are just hovering and taking pictures. But average about 20 minutes if you're flying around.
