Item Name: Beat-up ass ugly DAN WESSON for cheap
Location: Dacula
Zip Code: 30019
Item is for: Sale or Trade
Sale Price: 200
Trade Value or Items Looking For: 10/22 or something like that
Caliber: 357 Mag
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Remember that girl back in high school that wasn't much to look at, but would provide you with.. reliable service whenever you needed it? This is the firearm equivalent of her. Dan Wesson 15-2 .357 Magnum. Very fine firearm that appears to have ridden under the seat of a pickup truck since 1989.
Finish is all scratched up, there are some nicks, some rust, and some fugly, but it's all there. A couple evenings of elbow grease and a pint of cold blue, or a cerakote job would do this old girl proud. Needs a good cleaning also. Locks up tight and the cylinder goes round and the hammer goes click, but could certainly use a cleaning.
I got it with aspirations of a resto job, but then when I placed it next to my 14 other resto jobs, I got a disapproving look from the Mrs. She equates tinkering with guns with the grass not becoming mowed.. so, my loss is your gain.
First one with $200 takes it to the house.. spend a little time and have one of the finest revolvers ever made.
