This is an earlier model than yours, but this is what an unmodified Lee Enfield looks like:

It was quite common to shorten the stock (not the barrel) with these when imported and resold because the standard firearm is very heavy to lug around. It'll still shoot great and accuracy should be unaffected.

The definitive identification will be on the left-side of the receiver, and will look something like this since it's a 1940's model:

If you post the equivalent as it appears on your gun, it'll be easy to confirm where it was built and what the configuration was when it was built.
This is a 1942/43 gun. I’ve had all that checked.

Go look at the new pic I just uploaded. It hasn’t been chopped down. As I stated previously

There may be some misunderstanding in how I'm using the term 'stock'. The part that has been cut down is the fore-end of the stock.

The rear end of the stock - I agree - hasn't been changed.

No it’s full stock. Hasn’t been cut down. You can’t even see the whole stock in pic. So curious how would you gather your info ?
Years of experience. Your rifle has been heavily altered from it's original issue form to include having an aftermarket magazine in it.
