Na. A Saturday night special would be a throw away gun similar to this one. Made cheap, sold cheap, do your dirt with it and toss it in a river. This cobra derringer is not in the same category. The barrel can be changed out from a 9mm to a .380 & a .45. These use to be called "snake" guns back in the day, but now we refer to them as discrete self defense mechanisms.

It has a nice little pop, but surprisingly not much recoil given its size. That's why I opted with the 9mm vs the bigger caliber options.
