Item Description: This Colt has been in my family for 75 years, so I know some of its history. In those years it has rarely been shot and even rarer carried. The barrel is pitted but it shoots reasonably accurately. I would not hesitate to meet a goblin at the front door with it in my hand. As you can see the gun is a long way from unissued condition. Rather than have my family sell it off someday when I’m dead and gone I thought I would list it and see if someone else wanted to keep it for the next 75 years.
The price I’m putting on it just fills the spot here on the trader. I see prices all over the place. I am going to leave it listed and see if there is any interest in the gun. If you want to message me a fair offer I’ll consider it and any others I get and make a decision.
Any trade offers would have to be for a straight forward factory gun. No Frankenstein or Gucci builds. Some 1911 brand/models, Sig 226 SAO, DWX, those kind of pistols and cash as needed. No Glock’s, M&P’s, P320’s, etc.
