Item Description: Up today is a project I wanted to pick up to build a P14 sniper. Sadly, other projects have taken priority over it.
The good: this has a beautiful, smooth, all matching action. Bolt throw is the smoothest I've felt on a milsurp rifle. All small parts from the reciver are here and function flawlessly. I have test fired it once to check this and everything checks out.
The bad: Bubba has sadly gotten to this rifle. The barrel has been cut down by 3in (23in from bore with a dowel) and a new front site has been fitted to its original base. He has also ground down the rear sight protectors but left the rear tangent sight in tact.
In all this will make for a beautiful restoration and I am disappointed to see it go in this state but it is what it is.
I also just found the hunting stock it came in if you want it to verify function.
If you have trades, send them my way. I will intertain them as long as they are equal in value.
This has been cross listen on akfiles as well.
