Item Description: This saw started off as a 261 that someone scorched a piston in. I got it and went to work on it. I installed a new, OEM 262 jug, piston, rings, carb, 3 shoe clutch, and air filter on it. I deleted the base gasket for more compression and ported the absolute sh#t out of it. I could not port it any further without having the crank re-keyed to change the timing. It runs like a pissed off/scalded dog. It likes 100LL and Stihl silver oil. It's an absolute animal for its size. It won't win any beauty contests though. I loved running it, but I didn't run it often. I will trade for 9mm/5.56 ammo.
