So, it sounds like it really belongs to the cell company or Apple since he stopped paying on it. Sounds like a stolen phone to me.
No not neccisarly, just like a vehicle being repossed, or any kind of loan gaining interest. Just like any other businesses that collect , the money is really all they care about. They charge more for phones now a days for more than their actually worth. The phone isnt stolen.

Tried to change the price to 150.00 (New price) when I reposted but I didn't know how to change it. He had the phone since last year. I don't know when he stopped paying the bill on it . He didn't even know the phone couldn't be activated.

What you are admitting to in this thread is “theft by conversion”
We cannot allow an illegal act, even if there is no intention.

And yes I would know, I was a Lt in a large sheriffs department for 14 years.

And Yes, I apologize. I didn't know of such crime. You learn something new everyday. I know how odt tries be spot on about threads and postings . That are illegal, I respect that. If I had sold it to somebody or traded it that would of effected me at work because I manager at a retail store

Anytime something is sold or given away that someone else has monetary intrest in, it is theft by conversion.
Like selling a car that someone has loaned the money against.
