The M9A1 is not a compact version of the 92A1. Beretta makes an M9A1, 92 Compact L,(M9A1 compact) and a new M9A1LE which is an M9A1 with the Beretta Vertec slide. There are differences between the M9A1 and 92A1 both in mechanical function and ascetics.

Without getting into all of the different variations of more or less the same gun the m9a1 and the 92a1 shows that at initial glance the m9a1 is more of a compact than the 92a1. That’s more of what I was getting at but you sir are defintely correct.

Sorry for the mistake. Gun is stamped 92a1. Both the 92a1 and M9A1 list for $678 at Bud's(along with other prices for variations). Either way this was my mistake and I am pulling the add. I may repost correctly later.
