It is not the XT22. The magazine on this one is alongside the barrel. It probably holds a lot more than the XT22

However I only have a serial number, I don't see a model number

should be a model number with the roll mark on the barrel. Can't remember if that's a 781 or 881

I have a Marlin XT-22 tubular mag model. It is a great 22 and very accurate.
They are currently only making the detachable box magazine fed XT-22 which is why I asked about it. The model should be clearly stamped on the left side of barrel along with the origin stamping.
