Item Name: Item Gone: FS/FT Marlin 336 30-30 Pre-Safety JM
Location: Byron
Zip Code: 31008
Item is for: Sale or Trade
Sale Price: $750 OBO
Trade Value or Items Looking For: Pre-Safety 35 Rem or 32 Special Marlins. Shoot me a DM, all I can say is no, into just about everything 2A related.
Caliber: 30_30
Willing to Ship: Yes
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Early 80’s JM Marlin pre safety.
The Good: Has sight hood and plug screws in the receiver as well as a hard to locate rear barrel band sling mount. Also has a NIB hammer extension if you want to scope it.
The Bad: Bubba didn’t do a good job when adding swivel studs. Front was the worst so I bought a replacement fore-end that matches the wood grain well, will come with original that’s probably fixable.
The Ugly: Has some honest wear, overall good shape.
Took this rifle in on a trade for my 8 year old son, still a bit too heavy and big for him so bought him a youth 243 instead of shortening this one. Don’t need this one, rather it see some sun and deer down in its future instead of a gun safe interior. I cleaned it and fired two rounds just to make sure it functioned which it did well. I have ammo that can go with it for additional cost if you’d like, most of those boxes I have partial boxes to match. (Sight in package if you will, gotta figure out what your gun likes) I’ll be in Alabama all March but will be available on most weekends. If I’m way off on price let me know.
