My research leads me to believe it was a tweener, manufactured during the takeover of Marlin by Remington, and was likely manufactured by Remington using Marlin parts. Kind of interesting. FWIW, it feels better and cocks smoother than a normal Remlin. I would keep this but I have enough 30-30s so this one is on the block. Comes with the Marlin scope. WYSIWYG. Trades: Pretty open.
