Item Description: Marlin 981t is a tube-fed bolt-action that cycles .22 Short, Long, or Long rifle.
this rifle is in excellent condition, has bene upgraded to a hardwood stock, and has a Japanese-made Tasco 3-12x40 duplex reticle scope on it.
Given that this cycles .22 shorts with a 22'' barrel, it is pellet-gun quiet --- and so it was defender of the chicken coop for a number of years. I've moved on to other means of quiet pest elimination and this just doesn't see any use so i'm putting it on the block.
These are no longer in production, but it is a great little rimfire. $300obo
