Item Description: Possibly up for sale today is an older mossberg 500a with a beautiful set of vintage wooden furniture and a new production 18.5” home defense barrel. The intent was to go for a classic police cruiser looking 500. Magazine spring has also been replaced and she runs like a charm. There was a crack in the grip of the stock, but it has been thoroughly repaired with Titebond 3 ultimate wood glue. It has since been tested with nearly 200 rounds of high brass field loads, buckshot, and slugs and has held up impeccably well. The Velcro side saddle has been removed, which makes for a much more streamlined and uniform look. Only trade interest at the moment would be for quality milsurp.
