If you wasn’t so far away I’d be all over it. Wanted to do something like this and thread the barrel for a brake.

This would be the basis for a “Scout” rifle if I owned it.
Steel 1-pc. scope base / rail section welded (yes, welded!) to barrel just FWD of chamber.
Low variable power pistol (long eye relief) scope.
Probably a sporterized factory Soviet wood stock.
Probably a steel flash hider welded to muzzle.
With a sling, all the other parts and accessories might cost around $250.

Cut seems straight. Rifling looks good. No real rust issues.
