Those ladies, are they part of the S&W marketing team lol.

We need a new president in charge.

I'll be in charge of the marketing team. It's what happens when six or more S&W guys get together.

I can't post the twelve or more guys and the pictures here. It's just fun with tech.

I have a real old .357 Magnum. It's sure a pre-27:

It is lettered to 7-6-1951.

It was made in 1951 by WW2 veterans that stormed Normandy and came back home to engineer some finest revolvers ever made. Nothing made in the 1950's is poor workmanship.

This S&W pre-27 was made on 2-11-1955. it's in nickel:

Thanks, but I am much older than you. We had better prices back then.

I remember when the first semi-automatic handguns came out. Some owners came in with perfect older S&W revolvers to trade for the new super semi-automatic guns.

Not me as I liked the older revolvers. I have this S&W model 27 in 8 3/8. It's rare as the letter says 4-29-1959:

Those stocks look like Coke stocks to me.

This is my only 8 3/8" long barrel revolver. I sold another one in nickel which was a huge mistake.

You have a good point, quality revolvers are expensive and the older ones are getting difficult to find. I have often wondered if the generations to come will value them. My hopes are that with expanding wealth people will expand their investments to include quality S&W pre-locks. Then again maybe I am just crazy.

Keep sharing as I enjoy looking at beautiful old Smith's.
