Item Description: For Sale or Trade Smith & Wesson Model 64-3 Revolver with 3-inch heavy barrel. One of very few that was not a police trade-in. This one is in good condition -the revolver does have some signs of wear and use but for its age it is great. It wears aftermarket wooden boot grips, that in my opinion look great and feel great!
In my opinion, this is a must-have for every collection and the best barrel length made. This is what I would consider in excellent condition. The stainless is very nice, but I would not be afraid to shoot it and use it as intended. At the same time, I believe it is nice enough that you will be delighted with the investment you have made even one year from now. Recently the demand for these has been very high with little to no supply. Mechanically the revolver is in excellent condition with no issues and Bank vault lockup and timing. Included with the sale are the original box, documents, and tools.
Manufactured in 1981, this beauty has desirable features no longer available on today's modern machine-made guns- like a hammer-mounted firing pin, Pre-Mim parts, and of course, the absence of that ugly lock.
