Item Description: The bolt handle broke of the bolt while shooting my Rem 514 one day. I have explored silver soldering as an option, but have only found one local willing to do it with a three month wait time and a hefty fee. At this point I would consider buying a whole new bolt. I believe the rifle was manufactured in 1956, date code KC26. I am open to repair/replacement suggestions and may consider selling the rifle if someone is interested. The rest of the rifle is in excellent condition and shoots very well. Thanks for looking!

That looks like a threaded in piece with a bolt handle welded on. Drill and tapout the broken thread, which I am sure is a common standard thread . Make a new handle. I', just looking at pictures and haven't researched but it appears (an most likely is) pretty straight forward. I don't think silver solder is the solution at all.
But I wouldn't know, just a guess.
